When my daughter was born I knew we would be all about pink and frills but never did i dream of the amount of adorable girl stuff out there that you can get. In gearing up for my giveaways I stumbled across this store called M.A. H creations which is short for Moms At Home Creations. They have so much stuff there I was literally on the site for two hours browsing around while chatting with one of my very good friends on MSN and sending links back and forth of all the stuff we loved. I could spend a LOT of money in their store and still not buy everything i wanted from them I am sure.
They have diaper bags, bows, hats, blankets, nursery items, pacifier clips, bloomers, burp cloths, a ton of stuff to show your team spirit, shoes, tutus, personalized t-shirts and leg warmers. I love the matching brother sister sets they have especially the pumpkins one and think i might have to order that for Maddisyn and Holden to wear at thanksgiving.
I was given the choice of what I wanted to review so we chose to do a pillowcase dress from M.A.H. Creations. There were so many to choose from it was very hard to pick just one, I wanted to get this Halloween pillowcase dress but as my Husband pointed out our daughter is not growing quickly and while this is an adorable dress it would not be suitable for wear much after Halloween so we choose a different one. We choose to do the Casey Swirl Pillowcase dress and I am so glad we did. It is handmade of 100% cotton, has a black background with white swirls on it and it trimmed at the hem with hot pink/white casey floral scroll with hot pink ties at the shoulders. The great thing about the pillowcase dress is that you can wear it on your little one year round, put a cute little short sleeve shirt underneath in the summer or a long sleeved shirt and some tights in the winter. This pillowcase dress cost 34.99, there is an additional $5.00 charge if you need sizes 7 or 8, and you can make it a set by adding a pair or pants or capris for an additional $20.00.
This dress is so versatile and i can foresee Maddisyn wearing it for years to come. It can be used as a little girls dress or had I ordered a larger size women are wearing these for tops by simply ordering a size 6/8 if you fit a small, an 8/10 if you fit a medium or a 10/12 if you fit a large. It is also being used as a swimsuit cover for women and young girls alike.
When we received our dress I wanted to see Maddisyn in it immediately and since we were headed out to Walmart I thought what better time to put it on her and see how other people react. It is chilly here so we did the long sleeve shirt and tights with a pair of her little white dress shoes and then we headed out. At Walmart we were stopped by more then a dozen people to ask me where we got the dress, tell me how adorable Maddy looked in it and then after writing down the address to M.A.H creations they headed off saying they were going to finish their shopping and go home and shop more.M.A.H Creations was a great company to work with, they got back to me quickly each time I emailed me and they shipped the dress to me super quickly, I cannot say enough good things about them.
