Do free gifts really exist? ABSOLUTELY!
There is one free gift that stands the test of time and that lasts for eternity. The gift of JESUS.

1. Admit you are a sinner
The Fact:
You are a sinner.
"As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one." Romans 3:10
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23
The Consequences:
"But your iniquities have seperated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear." Isaiah 59:2
"The soul that sinneth, it shall die." Ezekiel 18:4
"For the wages of sin is death." Romans 6:23a
The Good News:
Christ died for your sins.
"God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16
"God demonstrates his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8
"Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures." 1 Corinthians 15:3
2. Repent and Believe
"Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord." Acts 3:19
"But as many as recieved Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name." John 1:12
"Without faith, it is impossible to please God." Hebrews 11:6
"He that believeth on Him is not condemned." John 3:18a
3. Ask to receive Jesus.
"For with the heart man believes unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For whosoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:10,13

A Sample prayer:
"Lord Jesus, I know I'm a sinner. I do not deserve the gift of eternal life. I believe you are the Son of God, that you are King of Kings and Lord of Lords. I now trust in You alone for eternal life and repent of my sin. Please take control as Lord of my life. Thank you Jesus!"

"But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name." John 1:12
What should you do next?
READ THE BIBLE
Start with the Gospel of John and read a chapter each day. Don't worry about what you don't understand, there will be plenty there that you do understand.
PRAYER
Spend time each day talking with God. If you don't know what to say, open up to the book of Psalms. Start with Psalm 1:1 and talk to God about what goes through your mind as you read each verse.
WORSHIP
Find a church that loves Jesus and preaches from the Bible. If you find a place that you are fed, it is likely the place that you are being led to join.
WITNESS
Tell others what Jesus means to you! You don't have to give them line by line scripture. Just tell them what God did for you. Your testimony cannot be refuted. It is yours alone.
"For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast." Ephesians 2:8-9
