FAQ: 1. Q:What all do you use cash for? A: everything except MLGW, cable, cell phone, mortgage, etc. (we use cash for grocery, gas, dates, clothing, hair cuts, spending money (our own personal cash), etc. Everything.
2. Q: Aren't you afraid of carrying all of that cash? A: Normally it isn't as much as you think. Our major cash expense is grocery. We grocery shop the day after we get paid. So if we get paid on Friday, get the cashout on Friday and shop on Friday afternoon or Saturday, that money is gone. Secondly, we try not to live life with our head about the clouds but if someone steals our cash that the Lord has provided for us then vengeance is of the Lord and He will take care of that. Also, He will provide for our every need when we are trusting Him, and are diligent and faithful with what He has given us.
3. Q: Do you use actual envelopes to keep your cash? A: No, while you can, we use a basic $1-$2 coupon organizer from Walmart or Target
4. Q: What is the biggest benefit for using the cash system? A: The cash system and spending plan agreed upon by a couple eliminates the need for any arguments about money. We have been married almost 12 years and have never once argued over how we spend our money. We realize this is a huge blessing from the Lord and give all the credit to Him for showing us how to use the cash system in our marriage.
